About the role

Role Overview

Ascertain is seeking a customer-obsessed, technical Senior Product Manager to own and scale provider, payer, and vendor integrations for AI-driven automation. You’ll work at the intersection of complex healthcare workflows and AI automation, ensuring engineering delivers solutions that produce measurable ROI. As one of the first product managers, you’ll also help establish product best practices and grow the product organization.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the product strategy for AI-driven/AI-managed integrations
Perform discovery through workflow shadowing, research, and competitive analysis, and present findings with rigor
Prioritize integrations that create the most leverage as the company scales into new use cases
Partner with Customer Success to define acceptance criteria and testing protocols for high-quality delivery
Track usage, performance metrics, and customer feedback to continuously improve the product

Requirements

4+ years of B2B SaaS product management experience (product-focused engineering experience is a plus)
Demonstrated ability to build customer-informed products, including hands-on workflow discovery (e.g., workflow shadowing)
Strong technical product background with API and integration requirements; comfortable using tools like curl and Postman
Ability to translate complex processes into structured product specifications
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and go-to-market teams

Nice to Have

Startup experience (Series A–B) in high-growth environments
Prior experience as an engineer
Comfort operating in ambiguity with a bias toward action
Strong executive communication and systems thinking
Familiarity with healthcare integrations and compliance: HL7, FHIR, EDI, HIPAA, SOC 2
