Senior Product Manager (AI Security)

Role Overview

Join Nightfall AI as a Senior Product Manager (AI Security), leading development of the Data Exfiltration Prevention (Endpoint DLP) product for endpoint security across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of Endpoint DLP, with an emphasis on fast feature shipping and feedback-driven iteration.
• Build deep understanding of how organizations secure data; identify key gaps in customers’ DLP approaches.
• Define success metrics for product impact and adoption.
• Partner with engineering on sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and execution.
• Support competitive differentiation by understanding what competing vendors do poorly.
• Collaborate closely with sales engineering and customer success to ensure adoption, satisfaction, deal wins, and renewals.
• Participate in customer-facing activities such as calls, demos, and technical discussions; troubleshoot deployment issues when needed.
• Translate technical requirements from security teams into clear product specifications; contribute to customer enablement (e.g., KB articles).

Requirements

• 4–6 years of product management experience in a SaaS startup with a technical product.
• Strong communication skills; able to credibly explain how the product works and define product requirements from technical/security inputs.
• Experience working with Sales Engineering and Customer Success teams.
• Entrepreneurial, high-ownership mindset with a strong bias for action (ship fast, iterate based on feedback).
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change; strong prioritization.
• Ability to join technical customer calls/demos and handle deployment issues.
• Prior hands-on security/product experience is preferred: founder, security engineer, or PM on endpoint or similar security products.

Nice-to-Haves

• Understanding of MDM, endpoint DLP, and browser extension architecture.
• Knowledge of endpoint security constraints across macOS and Windows.
• Familiarity with security/compliance frameworks, AI apps/agentic workflows, and how they impact DLP requirements.
• Experience with ML/AI detection and classification systems.
• Background in SaaS security products and cloud-to-endpoint integration patterns.
• Computer Science (or similar) degree.
