Senior Product Designer

Role Overview

As a Senior Product Designer at Vanta, you’ll drive user-centric product design in a rapidly scaling B2B SaaS environment. You’ll work with Engineering and Product Managers to create interfaces that simplify complex compliance workflows, within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) product pillar.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of visual and interaction design for intuitive, delightful user experiences.
• Develop a deep understanding of users and craft designs that meet their needs.
• Partner with subject matter experts to create guidelines that improve user content and guidance.
• Iterate on designs using user feedback, data insights, and team collaboration.
• Apply system thinking to build cohesive experiences using consistent patterns and components.
• Collaborate across the product ecosystem to improve how different parts of the product connect.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners (engineers and PMs) to ensure designs are implemented seamlessly.
• Communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders and build alignment.
• Lead by example and mentor junior designers.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience as a Product Designer.
• Experience with B2B SaaS or other complex domains.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX, system thinking, and high visual craftsmanship.
• Proven experience delivering inclusive and accessible design solutions.
• Figma expertise (auto-layout, properties, variables).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Experience creating comprehensive documentation for design components.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor designers.
