About the role
Role Overview
Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) for a mobile app covering travel, social discovery, and booking. You’ll lead a ground-up UX/UI redesign across a consumer travel/discovery product experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead UX/UI redesign for ReelBook, covering roughly:
- 45 primary screens
- 75+ total screens/states
- Design end-to-end consumer journeys including:
- Social/discovery feeds
- Travel and local discovery (including maps/nearby)
- Trip planning and itinerary building
- Booking flows
- AI concierge experience
- Reviews/check-ins
- Creator profiles and business pages
- Messaging and other consumer interactions
- Own the design process from concept → developer-ready handoff, including:
- UX architecture and user journeys
- Wireframes
- High-fidelity UI
- Interactive prototypes
- A complete Figma design system
- Developer-ready handoff
Requirements
- 6+ years of product/UI/UX experience (preferred)
- Hands-on product design in at least one of these areas (industry experience required):
- Travel or social-travel mobile apps
- Travel/local/destination discovery and maps/nearby discovery
- Trip planning and itinerary-building apps
- Travel marketplaces and travel communities
- Travel content, reviews, recommendations, creator-led discovery
- Comparable consumer travel/booking/discovery/social-travel platforms
- Expert-level Figma skills:
- Components, variants, auto-layout, variables/tokens
- Scalable design systems
- Exceptional visual design and interaction/prototyping skills
- Must be able to independently own design from concept through handoff
- Mandatory portfolio with relevant case studies
