Senior Product Designer

Role: Senior Product Designer

Tekmetric is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape and evolve its SaaS platform for auto repair shops. You’ll work within a small, growing product organization with meaningful influence over both the product direction and how it’s built.

Responsibilities

• Lead experience strategy across key customer workflows.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to drive discovery and solution direction.
• Own design end-to-end, from problem framing through launch and iteration.
• Build end-to-end user experiences.
• Support discovery by helping define product requirements.
• Create designs, prototypes, and artifacts to facilitate user testing, then apply learnings.
• Guide alignment within the design team on solutions that best meet customer needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and business partners.
• Work with product designers and front-end engineering on a design system.
• Partner with engineering to ensure visual quality and overall UX finesse.
• Regularly solicit feedback and iterate based on customer and team input.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Strong product design experience with the ability to own complex workflows end-to-end.
• Proven collaboration skills working closely with Product and Engineering.
• Ability to lead experience strategy and translate discovery into shipped solutions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience supporting onboarding/mentorship for new design team members.
• Familiarity with building and evolving a design system across consumer product experiences.
