Senior Product Designer

Role Overview

Senior Product Designer at Stable in an AI-forward, builder-led environment. You’ll work on product experiences at the intersection of digital software and real-world operations (mail processing workflows), owning work from discovery to delivery and making key product decisions with engineering and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Write product briefs and help define product direction.
• Query live business data and use customer insights to identify opportunities.
• Lead research by speaking and testing directly with users to understand pain points and needs.
• Make product decisions by balancing intuition, data, and research (what to build, cut, and when to ship).
• Design end-to-end product solutions:
  • Create early concepts in Figma and AI tools (e.g., Claude/Cursor).
  • Perform final polish and refinements in Figma or code where it makes the most sense.
• Partner with engineering by embedding in a product pod (3–4 team members) that owns specific product areas.
• Use internal tooling (Stable MCP) to build reports and dashboards with support from the Data team when needed.

Requirements

• Ability to own design work from discovery through delivery.
• Strong product thinking: ability to make tradeoffs around prioritization, scope, and sequencing.
• Comfort working with data and research to guide decisions.
• Proficiency creating product concepts and designs in Figma.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering and stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AI-assisted design and iteration (e.g., Claude/Cursor).
• Familiarity with complex operational workflows and translating real-world processes into software experiences.
