About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior Product Designer at Stable, you’ll work in an AI-forward, builder-led environment. You’ll own design work from discovery through delivery, making impactful product decisions in close collaboration with engineering and stakeholders.

Stable operates at the intersection of digital software and physical mail operations—helping modern companies manage entity requirements and mail workflows without the complexity of antiquated systems.

What You’ll Do

Find data and customer opportunities to guide product work
- Use Stable’s custom internal MCP as a data assistant
- Spin up reports and dashboards (with help from the Data team)
- Speak and test directly with users to understand pain points and needs
Make product decisions by balancing intuition, data, and research
- Determine what to build, cut, and ship
- Own and challenge business goals while advocating for customers
Design product solutions
- Create early concepts in Figma and AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor)
- Perform final polish in Figma or code when appropriate
Partner with engineering as part of a product “pod” (3–4 team members)

Requirements & Fit

Strong ability to translate complex real-world workflows (e.g., mail processing operations) into simple, intuitive software experiences
Comfortable working closely with engineering and moving from research to shipped outcomes

Nice-to-Haves

Experience working on cross-disciplinary problems involving operations + software
Comfort querying/using live business data and working in an AI-assisted workflow
