Senior Product Designer

Location: Remote (Seattle preferred), West Coast hours required

Role overview

Own complex product areas end-to-end across Web, iOS, and Android. Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Research to ship thoughtful, high-quality work. Balance strong design craft with sharp product thinking—zoom out to understand user needs and business goals, then zoom in on interaction details.

Responsibilities

Design & Execution: Lead end-to-end design for features and initiatives (concept → production) across Web, iOS, and Android.
Translate product requirements, user needs, and constraints into intuitive experiences.
Create flows, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes ready for development; work with engineers to ship with fidelity.
Product Partnership: Collaborate with Product Managers on problem definitions, solution exploration, iteration, and impact.
Bring user-centered insights to roadmap discussions and clearly communicate design decisions to stakeholders.
Systems & Craft: Design scalable/adaptable components for a shared design system; make architectural decisions early.
Maintain consistency, accessibility, and quality across the product.
Participate in critiques/reviews; give and receive feedback to support a collaborative design culture.
Research & Exploration: Use qualitative/quantitative insights to guide design decisions.
Collaborate on user research and usability testing; turn findings into actionable improvements.
Incorporate community feedback to balance inclusivity, safety, engagement, and performance.
Explore emerging interaction patterns, motion, and UX best practices.

Requirements

6–8+ years of product design experience with ownership of complex features/product areas.
Strong end-to-end product design skills (concept → production) with a portfolio showing visual, interaction, and systems thinking.
Proficiency in Figma.
Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams.
Comfort presenting to and incorporating feedback from executive leadership in founder-led environments.

Nice to have

Experience with prototyping and motion tools.

Compensation

$130,000–$145,000 base + bonus
