About the role

Role Overview

Senior Product Designer at Shortcut (remote, full-time). You’ll design product experiences and also ship code, partnering closely with Design, Product, and Engineering. The role spans both core product and Korey (agentic AI), with a focus on making complex AI workflows feel intuitive and reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to product design across Shortcut products, from early concepts through shipped experiences
  • Prototype quickly and turn ideas into working builds
  • Use AI to improve the design process itself (not just to increase speed)
  • Distill complex problems and user feedback into focused, actionable solutions
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on both strategy and day-to-day execution
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and contribute directly to the codebase

Requirements

  • 7+ years designing web applications
  • 2+ years hands-on experience incorporating agents and LLMs into production
  • Comfortable shipping code as part of the design process
  • Experience prototyping with Figma
  • Experience with HTML and CSS and coding agents
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills; able to be a visible voice for your work
  • Comfortable iterating based on real user feedback

Nice to Have

  • Deep familiarity with how modern AI products behave in practice
  • Interest in designing repeatable interaction patterns for AI-driven workflows
