Senior Product Designer

Role Overview

Sentry is hiring a Senior Product Designer to help design product experiences for developers. You’ll collaborate with product managers and engineers to simplify complex developer workflows, improve consistency and accessibility, and advocate for strong design across the product.

Key Missions

• Design developer tools that help teams build faster and more reliably.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to deliver high-quality product experiences.
• Elevate the design language to make interfaces more consistent, accessible, and easier to implement.

Responsibilities

• Turn complex developer concepts and workflows into clear, intuitive experiences.
• Bring designs to life with prototypes and (optionally) implementation mindset (“designs to life in code”).
• Obsess over details, from global UX patterns down to individual UI pixels.
• Engage with users via interviews and translate insights into design decisions.
• Contribute to making complex tools feel simple, clear, and effortless.

Requirements

• 5+ years designing complex software products, with a portfolio demonstrating impact.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills (structure, hierarchy, clarity).
• Proficiency with modern design tools, especially Figma, and ability to move quickly from idea to prototype.
• Comfort working with user research (interviews) and turning insights into design.
• Curiosity about how developers work and what helps them ship best.
• Ability to translate technical workflows into effective experiences.

Nice to Have

• Experience building or contributing to design systems.
• Contributed to open-source.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and/or React.
