Senior Product Designer

Role Overview

Senior Product Designer for a leading retail/e-commerce client. This is a remote contract (4+ months, highly likely to be extended). The team prefers candidates in the EST or CST time zone.

Responsibilities

• Create visual and interaction design for product experiences (UX/UI is required).
• Work independently with minimal support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to design thinking and product discovery through design work.
• Present rationale, document decisions, and communicate clearly in remote settings.
• Help deliver multiple products/major features with high quality and timeliness.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7+ years hands-on experience designing product experiences / UX design.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Experience collaborating on cross-functional product teams in an Agile environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to work with limited guidance.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Bonus Qualifications / Nice to Have

• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
• Experience designing native mobile apps.
• Experience in ecommerce.
• Working knowledge of design research methodologies.

Contract & Pay

• Contract: 4+ months (high likelihood of extension)
• Pay rate: $60–66.43 per hour on W2
• Work location: Remote (prefer EST/CST)
