About the role

Role Overview

Senior Product Designer at Rugiet, owning end-to-end UI/UX for the patient experience across web and mobile. Design directly drives revenue by improving conversion, retention, and LTV throughout the patient journey.

Responsibilities

End-to-end UX for the patient journey: intake, checkout, onboarding, patient portal, subscription management, and the mobile app.
High-conversion flow design, including intake questionnaires, product selection, checkout, refill, and subscription management—optimized against CVR, refill rate, and patient satisfaction.
Design system ownership: build, maintain, and evolve a scalable component library, design tokens, and interaction standards.
Evolving the design process and collaboration model with Product and Engineering; partner closely with Brand Creative for cohesion.
Design reviews and consistency across all surfaces via cross-functional coordination.
A/B and multivariate testing with Growth: design variants, interpret results, and ship winning experiences.
UX research & usability testing: synthesize session recordings, heatmaps, NPS comments, and patient interviews into prioritized improvements.
Design-to-engineering handoff: pixel-perfect Figma files, Dev Mode specs, and active build QA.
Cross-functional design leadership across Product, Engineering, Growth, and Lifecycle.

Requirements

8+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showing mastery of interaction design and visual UI across web and mobile.
Expert Figma skills: components, auto-layout, variables, prototyping, and Dev Mode (using Figma like an IDE).
Proven track record designing high-conversion DTC/subscription consumer flows with measurable outcomes.
Experience building or owning a design system (not just using one).
Data fluency: interpret funnels, session recordings, and A/B results.
Strong design-engineering collaboration skills.
UX research experience: usability testing, synthesizing session recordings/patient feedback, and turning insights into improvements.
Ability to evolve design processes and raise the bar for the team.

Healthcare/DTC experience.
React/CSS familiarity.
Mixpanel.
AI prototyping tools (e.g., Lovable, Claude, Figma Make, Bolt).
