Senior Product Designer

Role overview

Prolific is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join the Product, Research & Design team in a fully remote (UK) setup. You’ll help evolve a platform used by researchers for over 12 years, applying a founder mindset and owning outcomes for product impact in the Research group.

Responsibilities

• Own product impact and outcomes for a stream-aligned area within the Research Group.
• Work closely with the General Manager for Research and a range of collaborators.
• Partner with Product Design, User Research, Analytics, and Engineering to deliver customer value.
• Act as an unblocker and simplifier of complex problems, turning inputs into clear solutions.
• Raise the bar on product execution by making bets and building products customers love that drive commercial value.
• Deliver iteratively using a test–learn–iterate approach.

What you’ll bring

• Extensive product experience working embedded in technology teams alongside engineers and designers.
• Experience optimizing funnel performance with marketing and/or customer-facing teams, or working in growth-oriented environments.
• Strong familiarity with modern Product/Engineering methodologies, including areas such as:
  • Agile frameworks
  • Continuous discovery / continuous delivery
  • JTBD (Jobs To Be Done)
  • Thin/vertical slicing
  • Self-organizing teams
  • Thinking in bets and test–learn–iterate loops
• Strong commercial acumen and data-informed decision-making.
• Strong communication/storytelling; a team-first, accountable, can-do mindset.

Nice to haves

• Startup or scale-up experience.
• AI/ML training or development experience.
• Track record of contributing back to the design community.
