About the role
Role Overview
Join Parafin as a Senior Product Designer to shape the look, feel, and functionality of the company’s products. You’ll partner closely with product managers and engineers to design intuitive interfaces, explore ideas, and help define future product directions.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end product experiences for new features and improvements across Parafin’s B2B products
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and user researchers to:
- explore ideas
- design experiments
- define future product directions
- Contribute to and evolve Parafin’s design system (maintain the component library and keep design and code aligned)
- Raise the quality bar for design craft, usability, and iteration
Requirements
- Analytical, systems-oriented mindset; able to simplify complexity
- Collaborative approach and strong working relationship with engineering
- Product design generalist comfortable owning UX, UI, and interaction design across complex systems
- Comfort in an iterative environment, incorporating feedback quickly
- Strong product thinking: connect user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Design system experience in Figma (building and maintaining components)
- 4+ years of product design experience
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience designing consumer-facing products
- Curiosity or hands-on experience with AI tools in the design workflow
- Experience designing in fintech, payments, or financial tools
- Strong data visualization / information design skills
- Familiarity with front-end concepts and constraints
