Senior Product Designer

Role Overview

Senior Product Designer at Overstory (full remote). You will shape a customer-facing product by leading end-to-end design and partnering closely with engineering and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product design process, including:
  • User research
  • Wireframes and prototypes
  • User flows
  • Detailed design specifications
  • QA support
• Understand engineering and business constraints to deliver shippable solutions that solve user problems.
• Continuously validate solutions with customers.
• Develop and communicate a design vision by iterating quickly, knowing when to focus on detail vs. when to use low-fidelity sketches and prototypes.

Requirements

• Experience owning the end-to-end product design lifecycle (research → design → specs → QA).
• Ability to communicate design work clearly.
• Ability to work within engineering/business constraints to ship user-centered solutions.
• Customer validation mindset (testing/iteration based on user feedback).

Nice-to-haves

• Strong capability for rapid iteration and choosing appropriate fidelity (low-fi to detailed prototypes/specs).
