Senior Product Designer

Role Overview

Otherkind is seeking a staff-level Product Designer to join the studio full-time and lead client projects end-to-end. The role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, is highly autonomous, and deeply cares about the design process.

Responsibilities

• Create tasteful, high-quality interfaces
• Innovate interaction patterns and deliver recognizable design solutions
• Produce high-quality design artifacts for clients
• Manage client timelines and relationships
• Deliver project visions with strong storytelling
• Lead client calls, presentations, and design reviews
• Prototype all designs using the tool of your choice
• Contribute your own taste and ideas to help shape the studio’s way of working

Requirements

• Portfolio that reflects 5+ years of experience (experience not strictly required)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver end-to-end work (freelancer or founding designer experience counts)
• Portfolio includes high-quality prototype videos of interactions and unique interaction patterns
• Strong visual taste, including a curated mood board
• Values collaboration, feedback, and shared growth

Remote/Time Zone

• Fully remote
• Team typically works EST; most clients are in North America
