Senior Product Designer, North

Role Overview

Join Cohere’s North team as a Senior Product Designer to shape enterprise AI experiences. You’ll design intuitive interfaces for complex AI-driven workflows, balancing sophisticated technology with clear usability for organizations.

What You’ll Do

• Own the design process end-to-end for your product area, identifying opportunities to improve UX and drive impact
• Create user-friendly experiences that make technical complexity accessible
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders across the product lifecycle
• Conduct user research to understand needs, validate designs, and translate insights into improvements
• Maintain a high craft and quality bar for cohesive, polished experiences
• Contribute to design systems and reusable patterns across the North platform
• Partner with engineering to ensure implementation fidelity and make pragmatic tradeoffs when needed

What You’re Likely a Good Fit For

• 4+ years product design experience with a portfolio showing process, systems thinking, and measurable user outcomes
• Strong AI and agentic systems fluency (how models reason, use tools, and orchestrate multi-step workflows)
• Ability to design interactions that make agentic behaviors understandable and controllable
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders
• User-centered approach grounded in research, data, and direct engagement
• Design excellence, including proficiency with Figma and ability to scale patterns and systems
• Bonus: strong visual design skills (typography, layout, color, composition)
• Clear, proactive communication and good documentation to keep distributed teams aligned
