Senior Product Designer

Role overview

Senior Product Designer at Mesh. Lead end-to-end design across core products, driving discovery, solving meaningful user problems, and translating complex crypto/payments workflows into clear, intuitive experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own a core product area end-to-end, delivering measurable improvements in UX and business outcomes.
• Partner with Product to lead discovery and define the right problems using research, data, and customer insights.
• Simplify complex crypto and payments systems into intuitive flows and interfaces.
• Create scalable end-to-end solutions, including information architecture and UX patterns that balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
• Work with Engineering to deliver, iterate, and ensure high-quality execution through launch.
• Uphold a high bar for UX craft with strong systems thinking and clear rationale.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system.
• Support other designers through feedback and collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design (or related) or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years designing high-quality digital products with ownership over a product or major surface; portfolio shows strong craft and systems thinking.
• Expert at simplifying complexity and turning intricate (ideally fintech/payments/crypto) systems into elegant user flows.
• Strong end-to-end execution from problem framing and exploration to polished UI and high-fidelity prototypes ready for build.
• Strong information architecture and UX pattern design skills for scalable, cohesive experiences.
• Ability to make and defend trade-offs with thoughtful decision-making and rationale.
• Collaborative, feedback-driven approach to critique and continuous improvement.

Salary

• Annual base salary range: $150,450–$203,550 (San Francisco and New York). Adjusted for candidates outside those locations based on market/geography.
