Role overview

Senior Product Designer (Manage) for a remote-first, product-driven SaaS platform focused on nonprofits’ grant management. You will own a core product area involving complex financial workflows, compliance requirements, and multi-stakeholder collaboration across finance, program, and grant teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end design process for a core product area, shaping both strategy and execution
  • Translate complex financial and operational problems into clear, usable, scalable product experiences
  • Lead discovery and user research, and deliver end-to-end product design for the Manage product area
  • Design and refine data-heavy financial visualizations (e.g., budgets, forecasts, variance tracking, compliance reporting)
  • Create multi-stakeholder workflows across grant, finance, and program teams
  • Define greenfield product experiences from concept through launch (replacing spreadsheets and disconnected systems)
  • Explore and design AI-powered features that improve efficiency and compliance
  • Evolve the product design system in collaboration with the team

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product design experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role
  • Proven ownership of end-to-end product domains in B2B or enterprise SaaS
  • Strong expertise designing data-heavy interfaces (dashboards, reporting, operational systems)
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma (flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems)
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams in fast-paced startup environments
  • Ability to independently conduct and synthesize user research into actionable insights
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Familiarity with AI tools in design workflows
  • Strong product intuition and ability to make decisions with incomplete information
  • Comfortable working in greenfield environments and shaping product direction

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in finance-related or compliance-heavy domains
