Role: Senior Product Designer (Home Lending)

Wealthfront is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help define the future vision, strategy, and language for its product ecosystem. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to design experiences that translate complex financial technology into simple, delightful, and trustworthy client outcomes.

What you’ll do

• Partner with product management, engineering, user research, content design, and legal/compliance to develop a cohesive product ecosystem.
• Shape product vision and strategy, including how multiple products work together as an integrated experience.
• Drive end-to-end design work across the product process—from strategy to detailed interaction design.
• Advocate for client needs by proactively identifying product experience gaps and mobilizing improvements.
• Maintain a high bar for craft, including attention to both interaction details and the words/content used to communicate with clients.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product design experience in a consumer software environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual and interaction craft.
• Ability to clearly communicate and present ideas, and explain the impact of design work on the team and business.
• Demonstrated collaboration with product managers, researchers, and content designers in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead with minimal oversight as a reliable self-starter.

• Experience building consumer financial technology products.
