Senior Product Designer

Role overview

Healthie is hiring a Senior Product Designer to join its Product Design Team. You’ll shape an API-first healthcare platform used by thousands of organizations and 20M+ patients, partnering closely with Product and Engineering.

What you’ll do

• Own design vision and execution for areas you’re responsible for, from problem framing to interactive prototyping, engineering handoff, and post-launch iteration.
• Partner with Product and Engineering across the full lifecycle to:
  • uncover the real problem behind a brief and define requirements
  • identify anti-patterns
  • evaluate feasibility and trade-offs
  • create a phased build plan that is ambitious but realistic
• Translate complex domains (clinical workflows, billing logic, regulatory constraints) into interfaces that feel calm and intuitive.
• Deliver high visual craft across screens, states, and flows.
• Evolve and maintain the design system as part of every feature you ship.
• Mentor designers through pairing, critique, and modeling team standards.

How you work

• Figma fluency is assumed at this senior level.
• Work includes an AI-accelerated design workflow focused on real-code interactive prototyping.

Requirements / qualifications

• Senior-level product design experience (implied by the role expectations around ownership, prototyping, and mentoring).
• Strong Figma skills.
• Experience with complex, technical product areas and iterative product delivery.

Nice-to-haves

• Comfort operating in an API-first product context and prototyping workflows using real-code techniques.
