About the role

Role Overview

Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end design for Fountain’s CRM product. You’ll thrive in complexity and ambiguity, translating user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility into production-ready, measurable improvements. You will also design AI-driven experiences across Fountain’s AI product surfaces (including the Cue agentic system).

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design for Fountain’s CRM product (research, ideation, polished delivery, and post-release iteration)
Design agentic-first experiences that reduce recruiter workload and surface the right talent intelligence at the right moment
Translate complex workflows and data into intuitive, elegant UX/UI
Conduct user research and validate solutions
Understand and design for distinct user types (applicants, recruiters, admins)
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Customer Success, and Data to ship impactful features at high velocity
Work in rapid iterative cycles to accelerate learning and delivery while maintaining quality
Use structured thinking and strong problem-solving to clarify ambiguous problems
Communicate through storytelling, prototypes, and data-driven rationale
Contribute to scalable, consistent UI/UX design system patterns

Requirements

5+ years of product design experience in high-complexity B2B SaaS
Portfolio demonstrating user-focused problem solving and elegant product solutions
Exceptional interaction design and visual craft; strong usability best practices
Expert-level proficiency with design tooling, currently Figma
AI fluency to move fast without sacrificing quality (e.g., Claude)
Experience leading discovery and validation in ambiguous spaces
Strong ownership; can balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints
Strong communication skills explaining the “why” behind decisions
Time zone flexibility with 6+ hours overlap with US Pacific Time

Nice to Have

Experience with talent acquisition or CRM platforms
Experience building AI-readable design systems
