Senior Product Designer

Role Overview

Join Five9 as a Senior Product Designer to shape the user experience of cloud contact center products. You’ll advocate for key user personas—Agents, Supervisors, and Admins—and help deliver a seamless experience as part of the company’s “one platform” strategy.

Responsibilities

• User-centered design: Lead design for new features and improvements from concept to launch, ensuring user needs are understood and represented.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
• Prototyping & testing: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups; iterate based on user feedback and testing.
• Design system contribution: Help contribute to and maintain the design system to ensure consistency across products.
• Mentorship: Mentor other designers and promote design excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio for complex, data-rich applications.
• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of web and mobile design principles.
• Experience with user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication skills; able to articulate decisions and build consensus.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Empathy-driven approach and passion for user advocacy.

Location & Work Model

• Fully remote if residing outside 50 miles of the San Ramon office.
• Hybrid if residing within 50 miles: 3 days/week (Mon, Wed, Thu) in San Ramon.
