Senior Product Designer

Role overview

As a Senior Product Designer at Fabric (fully remote), you’ll lead design for the kids investment account product, advocate for customers, and partner closely with Product Management and Engineering.

Key missions

• Conduct product design using research and data.
• Execute design work with wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and prototypes.
• Advocate for design by clearly explaining your reasoning to create a unified, optimized user experience.
• Own the end-to-end user experience: from research and prototyping to final design delivery.

Requirements

• Strong ability to problem-solve and plan strategically while thinking tactically as a partner with Product and Engineering.
• Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks and deliver holistic design solutions.
• Experience working in an agile, fast-moving startup environment.
• Portfolio/samples of responsive web product design informed by both quantitative and qualitative user research.
• Deep understanding of usability, interaction design, visual design, and mobile-first UX/UI, including collaboration with front-end development.
• 6+ years as a key member of a design team, including experience with 1-to-n improvements focused on engagement and retention.
• Ability to articulate the strategic impact of your design vision and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Fluent in Figma and strong fundamentals with a detail-oriented, user-centered approach.
