Senior Product Designer (Design Systems)

Role Overview

As a Senior Product Designer (Design Systems), you will own and evolve Arbor’s Design System. You’ll help create intuitive user interfaces, mentor designers, and shape how the design system is governed and adopted across the product.

Key Missions & Responsibilities

• Strategic direction & design system governance: plan the design system roadmap and promote adoption.
• Team leadership: direct, coach, and manage designers; set quality standards and support professional growth.
• Design exploration with AI tools: explore AI-enhanced tools to accelerate design discovery and generate ideas quickly.

Requirements

• Experience owning or leading design system strategy and governance.
• Ability to mentor and lead designers while maintaining strong design quality standards.
• Skill in creating intuitive UI through system-led design.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows/tools for faster ideation and exploration.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in education technology or a similar domain where design impacts learning outcomes.
