About the role
Role overview
You’ll work with the client’s Product Design team as a Senior Product Designer on complex, large-scale product experiences tied to real-world physical operations. The role is contract-to-hire and fully remote, open to candidates based in the US or Canada, helping translate technically and operationally complex problems into clear, scalable UX.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design for complex product areas (from problem framing through execution)
- Own large-scope, ambiguous design problems with high autonomy
- Create and iterate on prototypes to move ideas forward quickly
- Design for complex workflows and systems across interconnected surfaces
- Contribute to product experiences related to:
- logistics
- mapping
- geofencing
- connected intelligent systems
- Help shape UX during an active product and interface redesign
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive clarity, progress, and quality in a fast-moving environment
Requirements
- 5+ years of end-to-end product design experience
- Strong ability to own large areas of work independently
- Experience handling product complexity beyond simple MVPs or flows
- Strong prototyping skills
- Comfort with PRDs, documentation, and design systems
- Familiarity with AI-enabled design workflows and tools
- Portfolio required (applications without a portfolio won’t be considered)
Nice-to-haves / Soft skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making progress with limited direction
- Strong systems thinking and ability to work across interconnected product surfaces
