Senior Product Designer

Role Overview

Join a Product Design team at a late-stage start-up building an automation and integration platform. You’ll shape how users interact across multiple product areas, translating deep technical capabilities into clear, usable experiences for both technical and non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Own complex feature design end-to-end, from early problem framing through specs, implementation support, and iteration post-launch
• Partner with product managers and engineers to identify opportunities and define product area vision (influencing what gets built and why)
• Design intuitive interfaces for technically complex workflows, making powerful automation feel effortless
• Navigate ambiguity confidently by asking the right questions, pushing for clarity when needed, and progressing when requirements are undefined
• Collaborate with researchers to frame the right questions, understand user needs, and validate design decisions
• Raise craft and usability standards through feedback loops, design reviews, and continuous improvement
• Thoughtfully incorporate AI-assisted capabilities into product features, including both visible and invisible value

Requirements

• 5+ years designing digital products, with significant experience in enterprise SaaS, developer tools, or technically complex domains
• Portfolio showing end-to-end ownership of complex problems
• Deep technical fluency, comfortable with concepts like data transformations, API configurations, schema mapping, and automation logic
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects with autonomy and manage complexity without close oversight
• Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping

Nice to Have

• Experience with workflows, data pipelines, integrations, or technical configuration interfaces
• Experience with design systems (contributing to and extending them)
• Familiarity with tools like Framer or code-based prototyping (e.g., Cursor)
• Strong systems thinking around flows, states, and edge cases
• Experience designing AI-enabled features
