Role overview

Netflix is seeking a Senior Product Designer for Commerce and Member Lifetime Value (LTV). This is a high-stakes, high-impact role designing critical member touch points that increase long-term customer value through proactive, data-driven interventions and experimentation.

Responsibilities

  • Design for households: Understand how families and individuals use Netflix at home across multiple profiles and devices.
  • Untangle complexity: Translate targeting frameworks, ML algorithms, and regional privacy regulations into simplified, user-centric experiences.
  • Unlock value realization: Help members discover and fully use their plan options (including Standard with Ads, Standard, Premium).
  • Own the lifecycle: Improve onboarding flows, identify upsell moments, and deliver personalized offers.
  • Drive revenue through creativity: Convert business constraints and technical ambiguity into elegant, revenue-impacting design solutions.
  • Collaborate at scale: Partner with Ads, Commerce, and Core Product teams to maintain a unified experience across TV, mobile, and web.
  • High-fidelity craft: Produce pixel-perfect designs and narratives that set quality standards.

Requirements

  • 7+ years designing consumer-facing products at scale across web, mobile, and/or TV.
  • Strong design craft: interaction design, visual design, design systems, and prototyping.
  • Ability to generate many concepts quickly while also going deep on edge cases and platform patterns.
  • Enjoys experimentation and iteration (e.g., A/B testing) without compromising the user’s emotional experience.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and independence in a complex environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; humble, partner-first collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Nice to haves

  • Experience in growth or monetization.
  • Familiarity with ML-driven targeting and global privacy constraints is implied via responsibilities.
