Senior Product Designer, CIA - Insights Team

Role overview

Senior Product Designer on the CIA Insights Team at Netflix. You will design at the intersection of consumer and enterprise experiences, building tools and workflows that help teams understand end-user needs while supporting internal insight workflows (dashboards and analytics platforms).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Enterprise & Consumer Design, Content Design, Product Management, Engineering, Data & User Research, Operations, and other partners.
• Drive design across the full process:
  • user research, ideation, concept development, validation
  • workflow diagramming, prototyping, final visual design
  • implementation support
• Conduct and leverage user research and exploration to deeply understand needs.
• Create pixel-perfect mockups and prototypes for end-to-end experiences.
• Run usability testing and iterate based on findings.
• Partner with PMs and engineers to connect user needs, data, business goals, and strategy into systematic solutions.
• Facilitate collaborative sessions with stakeholders across the organization.
• Help advance product design discipline with partners and clients.

Requirements (must-haves)

• 8+ years experience as a Product Designer (or equivalent) with a strong portfolio covering both consumer-facing and enterprise design work.
• Deep cross-platform design experience for mobile, TV, and/or web, with a focus on cohesive cross-device experiences.
• Ability to handle complex discovery and trust challenges in high-scale, evolving environments.
• Strong communication and alignment-building skills; able to tell compelling stories.
• Exceptional visual craft, storytelling, and attention to detail with a user-first mindset.

Remote / location

• USA remote with quarterly travel to offices in California (LA or Los Gatos), New York City, or Seattle.
• Must work PST hours.
