About the role
Role overview
Join Beacon Biosignals as a Senior Product Designer to lead end-to-end product design for a software suite powering scientific and clinical products. You’ll turn complex workflows into approachable experiences for patients and clinicians.
Key missions
- Lead end-to-end design across mobile and web experiences for scientific/clinical software.
- Plan, conduct, and synthesize UX research to inform product strategy and validate design decisions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements, refine concepts, and deliver high-quality products.
- Simplify complex workflows using interaction design, prototyping, and iterative testing.
Responsibilities (what you’ll do)
- Translate user needs into clear product direction.
- Turn stakeholder needs into scalable, configurable product experiences.
- Contribute to design systems and ensure cohesive experiences.
- Use strong collaboration practices, including effective asynchronous communication.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of product design experience.
- Deep experience in mobile and web application design.
- Strong UX research skills: planning, facilitating, analyzing, and communicating findings.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex workflows.
- Comfort navigating novel problem spaces and defining product direction.
- Proficiency with Figma and FigJam.
- Experience working in healthcare, fintech, and/or B2B and highly regulated environments.
- Robust portfolio showcasing mobile/web design, user research, systems thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience with data analytics/BI tools such as Datadog or Tableau to understand user behavior.
- Experience within or contributing to design systems.
Bonus / success signals
- Collaborative, product-oriented mindset and experience working across multiple teams.
- Ability to balance stakeholder needs with scalable product experience design.
