Role overview
As a Senior Product Designer at Ashby, you’ll be a versatile design partner who works across product design, product management thinking, and design systems leadership. How you’ll work
- Work closely with product managers and engineers (typical team structure: PM + Designer + ~4–5 engineers).

- In larger, end-to-end projects, you may effectively own the work like a product manager (project updates, resourcing, and execution), not just produce screens.
- Support the philosophy that design is owned by the whole product team, not only by a standalone design org.
- Equip PMs/Engineers with better decision-making and edit/shape decisions they make.
- Collaborate directly with founders (reporting line described as to the co-founder & CEO).
What you’ll help build
Ashby builds hiring process tooling for talent teams, including features like recruiter coordination and scheduling workflows (e.g., handling interview loads, availability collection, and scheduling optimization).

- Near seed-stage culture with autonomy, fuzzy lines between roles, and an emphasis on IC work.
