About the role

Role Overview

Join Zeta Global as a Senior Product Designer (Artificial Intelligence). You will design the core AI experience for the Zeta Developer Platform—advancing AI interaction patterns and raising overall design quality. This is a foundational role that shapes the future of the company’s AI-first marketing operating system.

Key Missions

Conceive and evolve the Zeta Developer Platform experience, including conversational interfaces and AI-driven workflows.
Partner with the design systems team to create, maintain, and evolve scalable UX/UI models for the platform.
Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to define strategy, expected behavior, and execution—translating complex requirements into human-centered experiences.

Responsibilities / What You’ll Do

Collaborate tightly with cross-functional teams to define experience strategy and implementation.
Develop scalable UX frameworks, interaction models, and patterns for an evolving AI platform.
Prototype and validate interaction and behavior to ensure clarity, trust, and responsible presentation of AI output.
Lead design quality through critique, documentation, standards, and example-setting across teams.

Requirements

Proven track record collaborating closely with Product and Engineering.
Experience designing and shipping AI-powered or data-informed products.
8+ years of product design experience on complex platforms or systems.
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, and modern frontend concepts.
Ability to influence standards/patterns/systems beyond a single feature.
Expert-level Figma (scalable component architecture, design systems, and documentation).
Comfortable using modern product development workflow tools.
Strong ability to balance craft, speed, and business impact.

Nice-to-Haves (Tools & Expertise Signals)

AI design tooling used in daily workflows (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or similar).
Prototyping tools such as Figma Prototypes, Framer, or ProtoPie (or similar).
Motion tools for stateful interactions/micro-animations (e.g., Rive, After Effects).

Additional Strengths

AI/conversational design fluency (clarity, trust, responsible AI output).
Systems/platform design expertise and end-to-end design craft (UX, visual, interaction, motion).
Design leadership without formal authority; strong communication of rationale and tradeoffs.
Ownership mindset and quality advocacy with pragmatic judgment.
Customer- and experience-obsessed, especially in AI-driven workflows.
