About the role
Role overview
As a Senior Product Compliance Analyst at Lively, you will serve as the primary compliance resource for Lively’s HSA, FSA, and HRA products. You will ensure these benefits are designed, marketed, and delivered in line with applicable regulatory requirements, partnering closely with product and legal/compliance leadership.
Key missions
- Ensure Lively’s HSA, FSA, and HRA products are designed, marketed, and delivered in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Lead product compliance risk assessments for new product features and platform developments, including AI-powered tools.
- Build deep expertise in how Lively’s benefit products work and act as an internal compliance resource for Product, Engineering, Customer Service, Member Services, and Sales teams.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of benefits regulatory requirements for tax-advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA, HRA).
- Ability to interpret regulatory guidance (e.g., IRS guidance, DOL advisory opinions, or similar) and translate it into product requirements for non-lawyers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable answering live compliance questions and producing clear regulatory impact assessments.
- 4–6 years in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or benefits administration (e.g., HSA custodian/TPA/benefits administrator/health plan/fintech).
- Comfortable operating as an embedded compliance partner across product, engineering, sales, and customer success.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment, especially during high-volume Open Enrollment periods.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with how benefit account transactions are processed (ACH, card networks).
- Familiarity with HIPAA, GLBA, or consumer data privacy requirements as they apply to benefits administration.
