Senior / Principal Product Manager (Workday AI)

Role Overview

Workday is hiring a Senior / Principal Product Manager for Workday AI, focused on building AI-powered agents. You will deliver AI solutions that create measurable business value, working across product, engineering, and customer-facing teams.

Key Missions

• Own the delivery of IA-powered agents within Workday by building client-oriented agents and/or developing the underlying infrastructure.
• Identify the highest-impact ROI opportunities for AI and advocate for their development.
• Partner with development teams to validate client value, drive adoption, and enable field teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with domain-specific Product Managers.
• Interface with customers and act as a customer advocate.
• Influence senior executives and peers; mediate across partners.
• Guide stakeholders and coordinate cross-functionally across your product portfolio.

Requirements

• Ability to operate across multiple functions, influence senior stakeholders, and mediate among partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong decision-making bias: comfortable making big decisions with incomplete information.
• Experience bringing new product offerings to market.
• Product management experience with SaaS/B2B, plus stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• User-centric mindset with focus on design, data, research, and judgment.
• Passion for customers; empathy and proven advocacy.

AI/LLM Technical Expectations

• Technically proficient (even if not a coder) with AI and LLM-powered technology.
• Passion for staying current with AI products and emerging technologies, including hands-on experimentation.

Qualifications (by level)

• Senior Product Manager: 5+ years of experience with SaaS/B2B; 11+ years of product management experience.
• Principal Product Manager: 8+ years of product management experience; strong technical proficiency with AI/LLMs.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience quickly learning complex customer pain points via public/internal sources and conversations.
• Ability to manage many concurrent workstreams and stakeholders at scale.
