Senior Power BI Business Analyst 100% Remote

Role Overview

Senior Power BI Business Analyst to support BI reporting and data-driven decision-making. The role focuses on requirements gathering, designing Power BI dashboards, and translating business needs into actionable insights using Power BI and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and validate business requirements with stakeholders
• Create wireframes, mockups, and BI report specifications
• Build and validate reports/dashboards in Power BI
• Perform data analysis and validation using SQL
• Present insights, recommendations, and findings to business stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver BI reporting solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5–8+ years experience as a Business Analyst with BI / data visualization focus
• Strong Power BI skills (dashboard/report development, data visualization)
• Strong SQL skills (querying, data analysis, validation)
• Demonstrated stakeholder communication and requirement gathering
• Understanding of Data Warehouse concepts
• Ability to bridge business needs and IT through a business-focused mindset

Nice to Have

• Advanced Excel
• End-to-end experience designing reporting solutions
• Domain exposure: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Distribution
• Strong consultant/problem-solving and strategic thinking mindset

Contract / Hire

• 12-month contract, with potential to convert to full-time hire
• Preference for USC/GC, but open to candidates authorized to work
