Role Overview

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer (Kubernetes) to build and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure and platform components. The role focuses on cluster lifecycle, networking, storage, and the underlying infrastructure that supports enterprise-critical data workloads.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Go-based platform components for Kubernetes cluster lifecycle and infrastructure management.
• Work on CNI networking integrations and storage layer components within Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain containerized platform services with strong Docker/runtime knowledge.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, and operational tooling for Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver platform capabilities that meet enterprise deployment requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and promote platform engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT roles.
• 4+ years of Go as a primary language in platform or infrastructure engineering.
• Production Kubernetes experience focused on cluster management (not only workload deployment).
• Solid understanding of containerization with Docker.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, CNI, load balancing.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
