Senior Operations Manager

Role overview

As Senior Operations Manager, you will own US customer operations, connecting commercial momentum to real customer outcomes. You’ll take key manual, founder-led workflows—camera ordering/fulfillment, servicing, and contracting—and run them reliably while systematically redesigning them for scale.

This is a remote, US-based role, positioned at the center of Optain’s operational infrastructure build-out during a fast growth phase.

Responsibilities

• Camera ordering, inventory, and fulfillment
  • Manage relationships with manufacturing partners
  • Maintain accurate inventory
  • Ensure new customers receive and activate cameras in step with the sales pipeline
• Stand up and run US camera servicing operations
  • Handle returns, repairs, and warranty coordination
• End-to-end contract execution for US commercial agreements
  • Partner with sales on commercial terms
  • Draft and redline customer contracts
  • Drive contracts through to execution
• Build and maintain the contract lifecycle process
  • Workflow tooling
  • Signing authority routing
  • Playbooks to make contracting faster and more repeatable
• Manage legacy contract obligations from an acquired business
  • Support ongoing compliance with existing customer agreements
• Create internal policies and SOPs to close operational gaps as the company grows
• Identify automation opportunities across customer operations workflows so the function scales without linear headcount growth

Requirements

• 4–7 years in business or operations roles with exposure to hardware logistics and/or customer contract management
• Startup experience preferred (especially Series A/B) and ability to operate without a defined playbook
• Comfortable operating with ownership and building processes that don’t rely on you
• A systems thinker focused on making the next iteration easier and more scalable
• Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work

Nice-to-haves

• Management consulting or investment banking experience
• Experience in regulated industries (medical device, IVD, or health tech with hardware component)
