Senior Node Software Engineer (NodeJS, React/Angular & GCP)U.S. Remote

Role Overview

Senior Node.js Software Engineer (backend Node.js with UI experience in React and/or Angular) working on distributed US teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand and translate fast-moving client business requirements into solutions.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to negotiate and deliver appropriate technical approaches.
• Write and maintain scalable, enterprise-quality software.
• Set up, configure, maintain, and enhance infrastructure supporting JavaScript/Node.js/TypeScript microservices.
• Build and maintain large-scale API systems and REST interfaces for internal/external requests.
• Create and maintain data/analytics-driven environments and campaign management systems.
• Implement unit/integration tests suitable for continuous integration.
• Drive feature engineering and experimentation to improve algorithm performance.
• Evaluate technical trade-offs and help shape best-in-class solutions via advisory and education.

Requirements

• Strong production experience with JavaScript / Node.js / TypeScript.
• Backend Node.js expertise.
• UI experience with React and/or Angular.
• 4+ years in a production environment (plus).
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS/engineering or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience with media/ad sales.
• Docker.
• Shell scripting.
• Git.
• JIRA, Datadog, Splunk, and/or Jenkins.

Additional Details

• Non-management role; full-time.
• US-based only; remote.
• Compensation: $125,000–$160,000/year plus potential yearly bonus.
