Role overview

Join Flosum as a Senior Node.js Developer. You’ll help shape the architecture and deliver production backend services and APIs for enterprise-grade SaaS used by real customers every day.

Key missions

Conception, design, and implementation of high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs
Own significant parts of the architecture, ensuring reliable production delivery
Collaborate with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO to make decisions that impact the product and users

Responsibilities / what you’ll do

Build and evolve backend systems with strong craftsmanship and visibility to customers
Deliver secure, reliable services with enterprise expectations around uptime and data integrity
Participate actively in technical decision-making; communicate clearly and challenge ideas when needed

Requirements

Strong production experience with TypeScript
5+ years of professional Node.js development in production systems at scale
Deep knowledge of asynchronous programming and Node.js runtime internals (event loop, streams, backpressure, and common pitfalls like unhandled promise rejections)
Expert skills in RESTful API design, authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, JWT), and API security best practices
Strong testing and delivery practices: unit/integration/e2e testing, Git workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD
Solid infrastructure knowledge: Docker, cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and Infrastructure as Code
Proven database experience with SQL and NoSQL, including query optimization and data modeling for performance at scale
Experience with Salesforce technologies (Apex, LWC, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations), including Salesforce ISV/AppExchange contributions if possible
Vue.js front-end experience, especially Vue 3 Composition API and state management
B2B SaaS experience serving enterprise customers with compliance requirements (SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, GDPR)

Nice-to-haves / additional signals

DevOps/DevSecOps familiarity in the Salesforce ecosystem
Familiarity with building apps for regulated environments and understanding code quality under pressure
