Role overview
Millennium Software is seeking a Senior Next.js Architect/Lead for a remote role in the United States. You will lead frontend architecture for enterprise-scale web platforms and drive technical direction across the stack of modern web capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise web front-end platforms
- Own frontend architectural decisions and drive best practices
- Optimize performance using Core Web Vitals techniques
- Design/implement rendering strategies including SSR/SSG/ISR
- Collaborate on API/data integration using GraphQL
- Support CI/CD practices and frontend performance/caching strategies
Requirements
- 8+ years experience leading enterprise-scale web platforms
- Deep expertise in Next.js 13 (App Router)
- Strong understanding of SSR, SSG, and ISR
- Experience with GraphQL
- Frontend performance optimization, including Core Web Vitals
- Familiarity with CI/CD and caching strategies
- Frontend architecture leadership experience
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)
