Senior Mobile Engineer Flutter/Dart

Role Overview

As a Senior Mobile Engineer at Ceresti Health, you’ll build and maintain the caregiver-facing Flutter app for iOS and Android, delivering native-feeling experiences to support families caring for loved ones with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain iOS and Android applications using Flutter and Dart
• Design elegant, accessible, native-feeling UI for caregivers across ages and technical comfort levels
• Integrate with Go and PostgreSQL-backed APIs including:
  • Secure authentication
  • Push notifications
  • Real-time data sync
• Own the full mobile release lifecycle:
  • Build pipelines, code signing
  • Beta distribution via TestFlight and Google Play (internal/closed testing)
  • Phased rollouts and post-release monitoring
• Implement offline-first behavior and secure local storage for PHI with resilient network handling
• Instrument for analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring, and act on insights
• Champion mobile accessibility
• Collaborate in cross-functional Agile teams (backend, web, QA, design, product, clinical)
• Review PRs, raise code quality standards, and mentor other mobile engineers
• Help safeguard PHI on-device and in transit (biometrics, secure storage, logging hygiene)

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional mobile engineering with apps released to the App Store and Google Play
• 3+ years hands-on Flutter/Dart experience shipping production apps
• Strong experience releasing via:
  • TestFlight and App Store Connect
  • Google Play Console (internal/closed/production tracks)
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL (read schemas, write/debug queries with backend team)
• Strong knowledge of Flutter state management (Redux) and clean architecture
• Experience with mobile CI/CD (automated builds, signing, store uploads)
• Ability to work in platform channels with Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) when needed
• Experience with push notifications, deep linking, in-app updates, OTA configuration
• Experience with instrumentation tools such as Sentry or Datadog
• Experience with mobile testing (Flutter tests/widget/integration; or Patrol/Appium/Maestro)
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants (e.g., as referenced)
