Role overview

Senior Mobile Engineer on the Deliver team at The College Board. You will help build and deliver hybrid (web + native) mobile applications for iOS and Android that support secure, high-quality digital assessment experiences.

Responsibilities

Build and evolve mobile features used for high-stakes digital assessments
Develop scalable, performant, and reliable solutions
Contribute to design, implementation, testing, and technical documentation
Collaborate with product, security, and operations teams and cross-functional partners
Support end-to-end testing experience systems, including mobile experiences used during live assessment/proctoring workflows
Improve performance, security, and consistency for students and educators at scale

Requirements

Strong expertise in native mobile development:
- Swift for iOS
- Kotlin and/or Android SDK for Android
Experience integrating with OS-level and device capabilities, such as:
- permissions
- networking

Nice-to-haves

Experience working on secure, reliable, large-scale digital delivery systems
Familiarity with building mobile components that support real-time monitoring and high-integrity assessment experiences
