Senior Manager of Regulatory Reporting & Technical Accounting at Tipalti. You will lead and automate key accounting functions across a global organization, partnering with executive leadership and multiple departments to strengthen internal controls and support IPO readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and scaling of critical accounting functions across global operations, including AI-driven tools implementation
• Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance internal controls
• Support IPO readiness initiatives by improving accounting and reporting workflows
• Manage interactions with external auditors for both regulatory and financial audits, ensuring timely completion
• Lead technical accounting analysis using strong data and process skills
• Oversee and coordinate work with international team members

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in fintech and/or technical accounting in a regulated entity (e.g., bank or financial institution)
• Strong background in public accounting and/or internal audit
• Experience working with large datasets and high-volume transactions
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort handling massive datasets
• Strong attention to detail focused on accuracy and compliance
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and multi-entity regulatory frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Compliance, People Ops)
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical field

• Data visualization and AI tool experience, e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Claude, Gemini
