Join Airbnb as a Senior Manager of Machine Learning Engineering in the Communication & Connectivity team. You will drive alignment across engineering, product, and leadership on AI investment priorities, partner with various teams to take high-impact ML initiatives from concept to production, and mentor a team of ML/Data engineers. This role requires 12+ years of overall engineering experience, with 5+ years managing a team in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment. Key missions: Align engineering, product, and leadership on AI investment priorities and set the multi-year technical roadmap.. Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to take high-impact ML initiatives from concept to production.. Grow and mentor a team of ML/Data engineers, raising the technical bar across the organization. Profile: - Technical leadership: hands on experience leading project teams, setting technical direction and strategy, and working cross functionally with Product and Data Science teams - 12+ years of overall engineering experience with 5+ years managing a team in a fast paced, high growth tech environment - Experience in applying modern artificial intelligence technologies to products and development cycles - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
