Role overview

Senior Manager of IT Product Management at Marqeta, responsible for defining and maintaining product vision, strategy, and an execution-focused roadmap for internal enterprise business applications and systems.

Responsibilities

Own product vision, strategy, and a prioritized roadmap for internal enterprise systems (e.g., internal BT/enterprise applications)
Act as a proxy for business owners for internal systems; manage backlogs of features, defects, and enhancements
Lead demand planning/management and organizational change management for major technology deployments
Run product planning and commitment processes with business stakeholders for IT requests
Track and communicate product and operational metrics (KPIs)
Lead SaaS sprawl management and support SaaS governance and software asset management
Establish and scale operational practices for IT product delivery and portfolio governance
Provide team leadership and organizational development; collaborate effectively with global teams

Requirements

10+ years in IT/business systems product management, or related; with 5+ years people management experience
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with senior business leaders
Hands-on product leadership with end-to-end ownership of product strategy and delivery for internal enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, Enterprise AI, or similar)
Proven ability to define and execute an Enterprise AI strategy (use case prioritization, organizational rollout, business value measurement)
Strong analytical mindset with experience defining and tracking KPIs across product and operations
Demonstrated understanding of SaaS governance, software asset management (ITAM), and IT financial management best practices
Experience leading organizational change management for major system deployments
Familiarity with ITAM frameworks and ITSM/ITAM platforms
Exposure to enterprise architecture governance and ARB processes
Background in demand management and portfolio governance within an IT/BT function
