Senior Manager of Corporate FP&A (Revenue Forecasting)

Role Overview

As Senior Manager of Corporate FP&A (Revenue Forecasting) at Thumbtack, you will lead planning and evaluation of the company’s financial performance, with a focus on revenue and contribution margin forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the revenue and contribution margin forecast and planning processes (process management, communication, and reporting).
• Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate revenue and contribution margin reporting.
• Own and improve FP&A systems, models, and processes to increase productivity and forecasting accuracy and to inform strategic decision-making on key revenue/margin drivers.
• Analyze and synthesize financial results and translate them into clear recommendations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of FP&A experience.
• Experience leading revenue forecasting.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Ability to craft and communicate business performance narratives for the C-suite and Board.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting insights “beyond the numbers.”
• Proficiency with Excel and G-Suite.

• Experience improving forecasting/modeling workflows and FP&A reporting processes across an analytics organization.
