Senior Manager, IT Operations Delivery, PMP - ( Remote worker role)

Role Overview

Senior Manager, IT Operations Delivery (PMP) will report into the IT Program Management Office and lead delivery of enterprise IT Operations projects. The role focuses on project delivery excellence, coaching and maturing project managers, and embedding Agile practices within a hybrid governance environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of enterprise IT Operations projects, ensuring quality delivery of internal investments.
• Build and mature project managers through targeted coaching, mentorship, and development.
• Coach IT teams to execute multiple concurrent initiatives; manage dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones.
• Provide strategic direction, prioritization, and oversight for consistent, high-quality program delivery.
• Ensure projects follow established project lifecycle management practices using BAE LifeCycle Management frameworks.
• Promote a culture of ownership, transparency, and results-driven performance.
• Embed Agile practices to improve execution speed, transparency, and adaptability.
• Support IT Operations teams as they shift toward a product management structure.
• Coach delivery and program teams on applying Agile principles in a hybrid program management environment, balancing Agile ways of working with governance and planning.

Requirements

• PMP (Project Management Professional).
• Experience managing oversight of diverse project teams or small programs with $7.5M–$25M revenue; projects typically completed within 12 months.
• Strong communication and influence skills in complex program/business contexts.

Preferred Qualifications

• 12+ years relevant management experience.
• Knowledge of information technology concepts and practices.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Experience with IT service management, product management, hybrid project management methodologies, SDLC, Agile, and ITIL (plus ServiceNow SPM experience is preferred).
