Senior Manager, Engineering (Nova)

Role overview

Senior Engineering Manager responsible for engineering groups building agentic experiences and integrating AI-powered capabilities into the core Iterable application as part of the Nova initiative.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and engineering leadership for a growing organization of frontend, backend, and applied engineers.
• Own critical application-facing development that turns emerging AI capabilities into reliable, scalable, usable product features.
• Lead teams working on:
  • Conversational workflows
  • Orchestration layers
  • AI-enabled product surfaces
• Balance organizational leadership with high-level technical vision.
• Define roadmaps, navigate ambiguity, and drive architectural standards in a fast-moving product area.

Requirements

• Experience as an engineering manager leading product-focused engineering teams (frontend, backend, and/or applied engineering).
• Ability to translate technical vision into scalable, reliable product delivery.
• Strong capability to define roadmaps and drive architectural standards in an evolving AI-focused domain.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in AI/agentic systems, orchestration, conversational workflows, or AI-enabled customer engagement products.
