Senior Manager, Compliance PMO (Remote)

Role overview

As Senior Manager, Compliance PMO, you will lead the project management office (PMO) across Stryker’s global Compliance department to help the organization achieve business results while managing risk. You’ll partner with Compliance leadership to turn strategic priorities into well-planned projects and programs with measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Compliance PMO to ensure the Compliance organization enables business results and effectively manages risk.
• Direct and support Compliance Project Managers and manage the project management budget.
• Serve as program manager for critical initiatives—driving both strategy and execution.
• Translate Compliance strategy and vision into projects with milestones, delivery schedules, and execution plans.
• Set annual project intake and cadence, and manage resources to meet planned objectives.
• Develop action plans and success metrics, driving alignment and buy-in across the organization.
• Establish and deploy project management best practices and influence their adoption globally.
• Analyze processes, recommend improvements, and prioritize high-impact projects.
• Provide tracking, reporting, and budget updates on project progress.
• Influence and manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution.
• Maintain deep knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards and provide strategic input to keep the Compliance program current.
• Promote a proactive compliance approach focused on ethics, integrity, partnership, prevention, and risk mitigation.
• Identify, select, and manage external vendors as needed.
• Conduct issue resolution activities including root cause analysis and assessing solution effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 10+ years of work experience
• 7+ years of project management experience
• 3+ years of direct people leadership experience
• Experience in medical device, pharma, biotech, or healthcare industries
