Senior Machine Learning / MLOps Engineer (Remote Opportunity)

Role Overview

Hyatt is seeking a Senior Machine Learning / MLOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable AI services. You will work closely with Data Science, Data Engineering, and platform teams to take ML models from development into reliable, production-grade systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end ML systems, including:
  • data ingestion
  • feature processing
  • model training
  • model serving
• Architect and deploy scalable AI services for real-time and batch inference use cases
• Build and maintain ML infrastructure across cloud environments (e.g., EC2, EKS, SageMaker, and specialized inference hardware)
• Develop and evolve MLOps platforms, including:
  • training pipelines
  • deployment workflows
  • feature stores
  • model observability
• Implement CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code patterns to automate model delivery
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that advance the organization’s AI platform capabilities

Requirements

• Experience partnering across data science, data engineering, and platform teams to productionize ML
• Strong ability to translate ML models into scalable infrastructure and MLOps automation
• Hands-on experience with cloud ML platforms and ML infrastructure for both batch and real-time inference

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with modern MLOps practices such as model observability and automated training/deployment pipelines
